Custom Pool Builder in Baton Rouge, LA | Create Your Premium Backyard Escape
Louisiana summers are legendary, and there is no better way to beat the heavy Baton Rouge heat than in your own custom-built backyard oasis. Whether you want a quiet, private space to unwind after a long day or a vibrant entertainment hub for weekend cookouts and family gatherings, a standard pool just won’t do. You need a design tailored to your lifestyle, your home’s architecture, and the unique layout of your property.
At Brian Keith Pools, we specialize in high-end, custom gunite pool design and construction throughout the Baton Rouge metropolitan area. We take a hands-on, consultative approach to pool building. Founders Brian Keith Young and Rex Young work closely with every client to deliver a beautifully crafted, highly durable pool that turns your backyard dreams into a stunning reality.
Step Inside Your Design with Free 3D Renderings
Investing in a custom swimming pool is a major decision, and you should be completely confident in how it will look before construction ever begins. To help you visualize the final result, we offer a free in-home consultation along with full 3D mock-up designs—all without requiring an upfront design contract.
Using advanced 3D rendering software, we build a digital replica of your Baton Rouge home and yard. We then layer in your custom pool, spa, decking, and landscaping features. This allows you to view the project from every angle, adjust the layout, experiment with different materials, and ensure the entire space flows perfectly before we excavate a single shovel of dirt.
Built for a Lifetime: Custom Gunite Pool Construction
We build exclusively with gunite because it offers unmatched longevity, structural integrity, and structural versatility. Prefabricated options like fiberglass or vinyl liners restrict you to pre-set shapes and sizes. Gunite, however, can be sculpted into absolutely any form, allowing us to maximize your available yard space and incorporate customized features like:
Sun Shelves & Baja Ledges
Shallow lounging ledges designed for partially submerged lounge chairs—the perfect spot to stay cool while reading or tanning.
Rock Waterfalls & Water Features
Elegant natural stone waterfalls, deck jets, and sheer descents that add therapeutic sound and motion to your pool.
Integrated Spas
Relaxing, spillover hot tubs that flow seamlessly into your pool and extend your backyard enjoyment into the cooler winter months.
Swim-up Bars & Underwater Seating
Built-in concrete barstools and benches that make your pool the ultimate social space for entertaining.
Complete Outdoor Living & Hardscaping
A premium backyard is about more than just the water. It is about creating a cohesive, functional outdoor environment. To complement your custom gunite pool, our team designs and constructs fully integrated outdoor living areas. We design and install spacious pool decks using high-quality materials like stamped concrete, travertine pavers, or natural stone. We can also build custom outdoor kitchens, stone fireplaces, and modern fire pits. By managing both the pool construction and the surrounding hardscape, we guarantee a unified design where your cooking, dining, and lounging areas blend together beautifully.
Transparent, Hassle-Free Local Process
Building a pool can feel like a complex undertaking, but we handle all the heavy lifting. From securing the necessary East Baton Rouge Parish building permits to adhering to local HOA guidelines, our team manages every step of the administrative process.
A typical gunite pool build takes approximately six to eight weeks. We maintain open communication and keep a clean, organized job site throughout the process. When you partner with Brian Keith Pools, you get local expertise, transparent pricing, and direct access to our team from start to finish.
