Custom Pool Builder in Prairieville, LA | Turn Your Backyard into a Private Oasis
Summers in Ascension Parish don’t hold back. When the Louisiana heat and humidity settle over Prairieville, a standard backyard simply isn’t enough. You need an escape—a place where your family can cool off, relax, and make memories without leaving home. At Brian Keith Pools, we specialize in transforming ordinary Prairieville backyards into extraordinary, custom-designed outdoor retreats.
We don’t believe in cookie-cutter designs or high-pressure sales pitches. As a local, family-owned custom gunite pool builder, founders Brian Keith Young and Rex Young work directly with you to craft a pool that reflects your lifestyle, matches your home’s architecture, and fits your specific budget.
Visualize Your Dream with 3D Renderings
Starting a major backyard project can feel overwhelming, but our process takes the guesswork out of the equation. We offer a free in-home consultation and complete 3D mock-up drawings without requiring a design contract.
Our advanced 3D rendering software allows you to see exactly how your finished pool, deck, and landscaping will look against the backdrop of your actual home before any dirt is moved. Whether you are picturing a modern geometric pool with clean lines, a natural freeform pool that blends into the landscape, or a luxurious integrated spa, you will see it in high-definition first.
Custom Gunite Pools Built to Last
We specialize in gunite pool construction because of its unmatched durability and unlimited design flexibility. Unlike prefabricated vinyl liner or fiberglass options, a custom gunite pool can be sculpted into any shape, depth, or size you desire. This makes gunite ideal for adding personalized features like:
Tanning Ledges & Sun Shelves
Perfect for lounge chairs and keeping cool in shallow water.
Custom Rock Waterfalls & Bubblers
Creating a soothing natural soundtrack to drown out neighborhood noise.
Integrated Spas & Hot Tubs
Extending your pool season into the cooler Louisiana autumn nights.
Swim-up Seating & Underwater Benches
Maximizing your entertainment space.
Complete Outdoor Living & Patios
A beautiful pool is only part of the perfect backyard. To truly maximize your space, we offer complete outdoor living design and construction. Our team can seamlessly integrate your new pool with custom-built outdoor kitchens, spacious pool decks (featuring stamped, stained, or brushed concrete), custom patios, and cozy fire pits. We handle the entire layout to ensure your outdoor kitchen, dining space, and pool area flow together naturally.
Transparent, Local Craftsmanship
Building a pool is a significant investment, and we believe you deserve absolute transparency throughout the process. From securing the proper Ascension Parish building permits to navigating local Homeowners Association (HOA) guidelines, we handle the administrative heavy lifting so you don’t have to.
Our typical pool construction process takes anywhere from six to eight weeks. Throughout every phase—from excavation and steel framing to gunite application and tile installation—our team is on-site and always available to answer your questions. You can walk right out to your backyard, watch the progress, and know exactly what is happening next.
